Airplane
For international guests from the DACH region, travel by plane to Japan is recommended. The nearest airport is Okayama Airport (OKJ). An alternative option is Takamatsu Airport (TAK), which is about 60 kilometers away and offers a travel time of about 1 hour 9 minutes by car or taxi. Given the long international flight times, an overnight stay in a pre-cruise hotel in Okayama is highly recommended to start your cruise in a relaxed manner.
Train
Okayama Main Station, a central hub with Shinkansen connections, is the most important point of arrival for travel by train. From there, direct trains on the Uno Line run to Uno Station in about 52 minutes, or you can take the Seto-Ohashi Line to Chayamachi and change there. Alternatively, Ryobi Express buses offer a convenient connection from Okayama Main Station to Uno Station, with a travel time of approximately 46 to 52 minutes and departures every 20 to 30 minutes. Uno Port is located directly in front of JR Uno Station and can be easily reached in just three to five minutes on foot, allowing for uncomplicated access to the terminal.
Car & Parking
Uno Port is well integrated into the regional road network of Tamano in Okayama Prefecture. For travelers arriving by rental car or their own vehicle, several parking options are available in the immediate vicinity of the port and JR Uno Station. These include Tamano Municipal Uno Ekimae Parking, Repark JR Uno Ekimae, and Port Parking U no, all of which are just a few minutes' walk from the terminal. For long-term parkers, there are also affordable coin-operated parking lots with rates of around 500 JPY per 24 hours, allowing for flexible planning of your cruise.
