Transfer & Shuttle

The crossing from Ambon to Banda Neira can take several hours depending on the type of vessel and weather conditions. Alternatively, upon arrival at Bandanaira Airport (NDA), the transfer to the nearby port of Bandanaira, located directly in the town, is usually short and can be done via local transport or on foot.

Given the long and potentially complex journey involving multiple flights and a ferry crossing, an overnight stay on Ambon or directly in Bandanaira one or even two days before the planned embarkation is strongly recommended.
