Since the island itself has no direct cruise port and is car-free, travel for cruise guests from the DACH region typically involves a flight to Mahé, the main island of the Seychelles, followed by a short boat transfer. The main cruise terminal of the Seychelles is located at Port Victoria on Mahé.
Airplane
Your journey begins at Seychelles International Airport (SEZ) on Mahé, the international hub of the Seychelles. Direct flights from the DACH region are available, and numerous airlines also offer convenient connections with just one stopover. Due to the long flight time, we recommend arriving at least one day before your planned embarkation or transfer to Île au Cerf to start your island experience in a relaxed manner.
Transfer & Shuttle
From Seychelles International Airport (SEZ), you can easily reach the Eden Island Jetty on Mahé, the primary departure point for boat transfers to Île au Cerf, by taxi in about 10 minutes. A taxi ride from the airport to the port on Mahé takes about 20 minutes and costs around 35 euros. From Eden Island, a short and pleasant boat transfer takes you directly to Île au Cerf in just 5 to 20 minutes. Many accommodations on Île au Cerf organize these transfers for their guests, making the journey particularly comfortable. Meanwhile, cruise ships dock at nearby Port Victoria on Mahé.
