When founding Silversea in 1990 the Roman family Lefebvre had the plan to offer cruises with more style and with a higher standard than others. This aim has been achieved and today Silversea offers one of the most luxurious products in the world of cruise ships. All of the ships are relatively small so that interesting routings and special ports of call all over the globe are on offer.

Suites are 27 to 117 square meters large and are equipped with a marble bathroom, a walk-in closet, italian linen and a pillow selection.

The onboard language is English. Due to its passengers from all around the world the atmosphere is very cosmopolitan. The age of the passengers is mixed, but mostly up from 45 years. You should dress smart casual and suitable to the weather during the day. During a one week-trip there will be two formal evenings where men should wear a dark suit or tuxedo. Because there are only few children on board the atmosphere is very calm.
