About Silversea Cruises

When founding Silversea in 1994 the Roman family Lefebvre had the plan to offer cruises with more style and with a higher standard than others. This aim has been achieved and today Silversea offers one of the most luxurious products in the world of cruise ships. Silver Ray staterooms

The suites are all bright and modern furnished and have a balcony. They are between 33 and 123 sqm large according to the chosen category. As a standard all suites are equipped with the following: mini bar with your favourite drinks, bathrobes and slippers, luxury bath amenities, umbrella, hairdryer, USB-C mobile device charger, interactive media library, telephone and welcome champagne. In addition to that you have included wifi and a pillow menue from which you can choose your favourite pillow. Your private butler lets you choose and also does everything to make your cruise perfect.

Atmosphere onboard the Silver Ray

You will find an international audience on board the Silver Ray. Accordingly, mostly English is spoken. The age of the guests is mixed, but mostly 45 years and above. There are very few children on board and the ships are rather calm.

Silver Ray restaurants, bars & lounges

Onboard the Silver Ray there are 10 restaurants: Atlantide, S.A.L.T. Kitchen, La Dame, Kaiseki, La Terraza, Silver Note, The Marquee. The Atlantide is the main restaurant with international meals. At the La Dame french specialities are served and at the Kaiseki asiatic specialities are served. Thanks to the S.A.L.T. programme also regional specialities from the travelled countries will be served. On board, you will also find the S.A.L.T. Bar, where expertly prepared cocktails are served.

Entertainment, sports & relaxation

On board the Silver Ray the atmosphere is quiet and the importance is attached to relaxation and wellness. There is a fitness centre on board and a jogging track on the fresh air. In the pool you can swim or relax in the whirlpool. In the evening there are some shows and entertainments with piano music or a vocalist. In the S.A.L.T.-Lab you can partake in different workshops, lectures and cooking-presentations. On board, for an additional charge, you can enjoy the S.A.L.T Chef's Table, where you will be served a carefully curated 11-course menu featuring local ingredients.
