As the first cruise line HX Expeditions has banned all single-use plastic from its fleed. These things, e. g. straws oder plastic bags will be replaced by paper or other biological disposable material.

The staterooms on board the Santa Cruz II are furnished to a high standard and offer you a choice of single, double and family cabins. There are 50 staterooms in total. All have their own bathroom, air conditioning, hairdryer, room safe, reading lamps and panoramic windows.

This elegant, spacious ship offers a wide range of facilities to ensure a pleasant stay on board. The restaurant serves delicious food, the Science Center allows you and your fellow passengers to expand your knowledge, and on the various decks you can exchange ideas with your fellow passengers in a pleasant atmosphere.

The Beagle Restaurant is located on the lowest deck of the Santa Cruz II. Here you will be pampered by a highly trained kitchen team, who use locally produced organic food for the preparation of all dishes. The main bar on board is the Panorama Bar and Lounge. Most events and lectures take place here. There is direct access to the outdoor terrace where you can relax and unwind.

There is a fitness room on board with yoga mats, weights, two treadmills, two fitness bikes and an elliptical trainer. If you wish, you can keep up your training routine here during the voyage. There are also two whirlpools on board, where five guests can relax at a time.
