Sans Souci from Plantours Cruises : Everything you need to know

The Sans Souci is the smallest ship in the fleet and entered service in 2000. During the last renovation in winter 2018/2019, all staterooms were refurbished, new beds were installed and French balconies were added on the Elbe deck. In total, the ship has three decks. The Eems and Elbe decks are connected by a lift. The ship sails on small rivers that larger ships cannot navigate.

MS Sans Souci staterooms

The size of the outside staterooms is approx. 12 sqm. The staterooms on the Elbe deck have French balconies since winter 2018/2019. On the Eems deck, the stateroom are equipped with large panoramic windows. The single staterooms are approx. 10 to 12 sqm in size. Regardless of the category, all staterooms have a bathroom with shower and WC, a hairdryer, individually regulated air conditioning, a TV and a safe.

Atmosphere on board

Plantours Cruises is known for the familiar atmosphere aboard the ships. During the stay on board of Sans Souci the guests will get to know the more familiar and welcoming atmosphere than on the other ships. The ship inspires with its small size and the small number of passengers, so that even remote regions can be visited.

MS Sans Souci restaurants

The restaurant is located on the Eems deck. It is furnished very pleasantly and with warm colours. In the mornings there is a buffet for the breakfast. For lunch and dinner the waiters serve several course menus. The dishes vary from regional to international specialties. In the afternoon is coffee and tea is served with delicious cake.

Entertainment and wellness

The glazed Panorama Lounge is the place where the passengers spend most of their time and get in touch with other guests. The lounge is opened all day long. In the mornings the people enjoy their coffee, in afternoon cake is offered and in the evenings some live music takes place. A small bar is part of the lounge. The reception with a small library is next to the lounge. If the weather is good, the sun deck is opened.
