Young hearted couples and solo travellers who prefer a good service, a familiar atmosphere and relaxing surroundings belong to the target group of the company. Aboard the ships the mainly spoken language is German and most travellers come from Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Sans Souci is the smallest ship of the fleet and started its service in 2000. The latest renovation was done in the winter of 2018/2019. All staterooms were renovated and the beds were exchanged. Since the renovation the staterooms on the Elbe deck are equipped with French balconies. In total there are three decks. The Eems and Elbe deck are connected with an elevator. The guests can go upstairs from the Elbe deck to the sun deck by walking or by using the stair lift.

Sans Souci staterooms
The size of the staterooms is approximately 12 sqm. French balconies have been added to the oceanview staterooms on the Elbe deck during the last renovation. On the Eems deck the staterooms have large panoramic windows. The new beds seem to be very comfortable. Regardless of the category a bathroom with shower and toilet, a hairdryer, an air condition, a tv and a safe belong to the basic equipment of the staterooms.
Atmosphere on board of Sans Souci
Plantours Cruises is known for the familiar atmosphere aboard the ships. During the stay on board of Sans Souci the guests will get to know the more familiar and welcoming atmosphere than on the other ships. Especially the small size and the little amount of passengers is appreciated a lot by the travellers.
Sans Souci restaurant
The restaurant is located on the Eems deck. It is furnished very pleasantly and with warm colours. In the mornings there is a buffet for the breakfast. For lunch and dinner the waiters serve several course menus. The dishes vary from regional to international specialties.
Entertainment on board of Sans Souci
The glazed Panorama Lounge is the place where the passengers spend most of their time and get in touch with other guests. The lounge is opened all day long. In the mornings the people enjoy their coffee, in afternoon cake is offered and in the evenings some live music takes place. A small bar is part of the lounge. The reception with a small library is next to the lounge. If the weather is good, the sun deck is opened. There are sun beds and a small putting green with five holes.
Sans Souci is a small ship with a very familiar and unique atmosphere. The voyages with this ship are popular because of the uncommon itineraries. Thanks to the small size and length the ship can reach to very interesting places at the banks of the Elbe, Havel, Oder, Vltava or Baltic Sea.
