About Royal Caribbean International

Royal Caribbean International is a brand with an incredible history and unlimited potential. The cruise line not only sets new standards by the size of the ships, but also by its degree of innovation. Especially the entertainment programm on their vessels is a new invention. The ships are convincing due to a variety of sport offers and leisure activities for every age group. Particularly the outdoor area offers great experiences with ice rinks or zip lines. However not only the big vessels, but also the smaller ones offer plenty options to have fun in a relaxed atmosphere. In the different restaurants you expect tasty dishes combined with an attentive service. On board, all age groups feel at home. Due to the company's heritage a basic knowledge in English is recommended. Another thing to take into considerations is that the additional costs are higher than on German ships.

Staterooms

TV, telephone, private bathroom with shower, dressing table and hair dryer are standard in all cabins. The cabins have two single beds, that can be pushed together to make a double bed. The size of the cabins varies by category and some suites measure more than 100 square meters. The inside cabins have a special highlight: a virtual balcony with a view. So you can enjoy the magnificent view also from the inside cabin, as the image is transmitted live into your cabin.

Atmosphere on Board

The Quantum of the Seas is a ship for all ages, with a special focus on guests looking to enjoy the full range of entertainment on this large cruise ship. The audience is international, with mostly Chinese guests, as the ship was built specifically for the Asian market. The atmosphere is colorful and relaxed, the service friendly and very professional. On some evenings, festive attire is expected in the main restaurant. However, if you like it more casual, you can switch to other restaurants on evenings like this.

Food and Beverages

Also in the culinary sense, there is much to discover on board. Numerous restaurants, bars, lounges and cafes offer a huge variety of delicious food at any time of the day. Italian and international cuisine can be found on board as well as typical Asian dishes. Here you can enjoy Chinese-style meals at the Hot Pot in the Solarium Bistro or sushi at the Izumi. There is an extra charge in the specialty restaurants and a reservation is recommended. As with all other services on board, a service charge will be added to the drinks prices.

Entertainment, Sports and Relaxation

The highlight of the Quantum of the Seas is certainly the North Star, a glass globe that takes guests up to 90 meters above sea level for an impressive 360 degree panoramic view. For the special thrill you can "fly" on board with the skydiving simulator. Families will get their money's worth on board, especially in the SeaPlex. Here, for the first time, young and old can ride a bumper car on a cruise ship, play basketball or practice feats at the circus school. But the attractions already known by other ships of the cruise line, such as the Flowrider, the climbing wall and the Vitality Spa & Fitness Center must not be abandoned. Music fans can look forward to great shows and musicals on board. The complete Deck 15 is dedicated to sports. Here you will find the SeaPlex area, a jogging track, the climbing wall and the Vitality Spa & Fitness Center. The extensive fitness area with equipment and courses and a large spa area offers from the manicure on various massages almost everything that will make you feel beautiful or relaxed.

The ship offers many options for passengers of all ages. Not only with the North Star the Quantum of the Seas offers a special experience. The numerous innovative recreational opportunities are also convincing. Staying aboard will be a unique experience in terms of entertainment and sports!
