Feel Free - the modern concept of Norwegian Cruise Line accompanies you in all the aspects of your voyage. The ships of the Norwegian Cruise Line are in a sense club ships with an international flair. German menus and German-speaking contact persons make life on board much easier. Whenever possible within Europe, excursions with German speaking guides are offered. Basic knowledge in English, however, is recommended on the ships of the American cruise line.

The Norwegian Sun was put into service in 2001, last renovated in 2016 and accommodates 1,936 guests with a double occupancy. With 78.309 GT, it is one of the smaller ships in the fleet of the Norwegian Cruise Line. On board you will find various entertainment options for the young and young at heart, relaxing recreational opportunities and an extensive selection of restaurants, bars and lounges with various delicacies.

The cabins are modern and comfortably furnished. The inside cabins are about 13 to 18 m² (superior inside) large, the outside cabins measure 13 to 15 m² and the balcony cabins are just 21 m². All cabins have 2 lower beds, most of which can be made into a queen-size bed. Some cabins also have a 3rd and 4th bed, usually as an upper folding bed. The suites are spacious, with up to 77 m² and butler and concierge service.

At the specialty restaurants, you can enjoy delicacies from around the world at an extra cost. There is a steakhouse, a French restaurant, a sushi bar, a tapas or Tex-Mex restaurant, a Teppanyaki and an Italian restaurant. At no extra charge, there is a buffet restaurant, two à la carte restaurants, the 24-hour restaurant for those in between, and a barbecue bar in the pool area.

The theater offers exciting shows every day. Casino, pub or sports bar as well as quieter places like the observatory lounge, the piano bar, the champagne bar and the wine shop can not be missed on board. Special preferences are served, for example, in the Cafe Bar and the Cocktail and Martini Bar. For smokers, the cigar bar is a highlight.
