The Nordkapp is named after the most nordic point of the european land, the North Cape. It was baptized in 1996 and had its maiden trip to the Shetland islands. Since April 1996 it visits the norwegian coast and was redecorated in 2016. It has a modern and arctically inspired furniture and offers place for up to 590 crusaders. On board, there are restaurants, various lounges, a sauna, a jacuzzi and a fitness room. Additionally, on every Hurtigruten cruise, there is a team of expedition experts available for you. They are there to inform you about nature, culture and the wildlife around the cruise. There are interesting presentations and activities, which are there to make your cruise a special experience.
As the first cruise line Hurtigruten has banned all single-use plastic from its fleed. These things, e. g. straws oder plastic bags will be replaced by paper or other biological disposable material.
To create your cruise interesting, there is a sauna, a fitness room, a whirlpool and an own expedition team on board. On the car deck you can park you car. On board real explorer feel welcome who like to experience new things and are interested in the surrounding environment. The scandinavian interior in the many public areas let you feel a cosy atmosphere even on rainy days.
The three restaurants invite you to culinary highlights and shine with a simple interior. There is also a bakery and icebar 'Multe'.
In the explorer Bar Lounge you can exchange with the experts and gaze at the rolling by landscape. After an exciting day you can recover in the sauna, the whitlpool and the fitness room.
