Like the other ships in the MSC World class, the MSC World Atlantic can also be powered by LNG gas. In addition, the ship is equipped with shore power connections, which means that the engines can be switched off completely in port, provided that a suitable power supply is available on land. Modern, intelligent systems on board provide guests with a comfortable travel experience while helping to keep energy and water consumption low. A comprehensive recycling concept significantly reduces waste, and the specially developed propulsion systems operate particularly quietly to minimize impact on the underwater world.
