The Jewel of the Seas is part of the "Radiance" class of Royal Caribbean International, was built at the Meyer shipyard in Papenburg and put into service in 2004. The ship was last renovated in the spring of 2016. Two more pools and some whirlpools on deck invite you to swim and splash around. A jogging track and a sports court for basketball and other ball sports are more possibilities for sports on board.

- Entertainment must Improve
- on board chat thru the rc app was shut down without notice for many days, forcing us to buy an expensive Zoom internet package just to keep in touch among our group (including a child) on board. also, system turned back on with no notice. arcade very poor and very expensive....
- Entertainment can improve on certain days
- Spectacular views of the sea throughout the ships bars, fantastic to sit and watch the world go by.
- You really don't feel that ship was built in 2004, it looks very nice, clean, cabin was comfortable.
