DCS Amethyst 2

The tour operator and provider of river cruises DCS-Touristik was founded in 1985 and specialises in high-quality coach-ship combination tours as well as group, event and city trips. The cruise routes are mainly along the Danube, Main, Rhine, Moselle and Volga rivers. Ocean cruises have also recently been added to the programme, calling at numerous ports in Croatia and Greece.

The 73 modern and comfortably furnished staterooms are approx. 15 sqm in size, the single staterooms are approx. 12 sqm. The windows in the staterooms on the main deck and on the forward middle deck cannot be opened for safety reasons. The staterooms on the upper deck have a private balcony. All staterooms are equipped with double beds, some of which can also be arranged as separate twin beds. They also have a shower and WC, TV, radio, individually adjustable air conditioning, telephone, safe and hairdryer.

On board the DCS Amethyst 2 you can enjoy a rich breakfast buffet in the morning. At lunchtime and in the evening you can enjoy a variety of menus. On the day of embarkation, you can look forward to a delicious snack buffet.

Linger on the sun deck with its numerous loungers and enjoy the view of the passing landscape or relax in the indoor whirlpool and sauna. If you want to be active while travelling, you can use the small selection of sports equipment. A few board games and a small selection of books are also available in the cosy reading corner with fireplace. The kitchen crew also offers the famous apple strudel show or you can play bingo with your fellow travellers. In the evening you can often enjoy live music or have a drink at the bar.
