In May 2019, Celebrity Flora expanded the Celebrity Cruises fleet. The Celebrity Flora supports the cruise line's previous expedition vessels in the Galapagos region and was designed specifically for use in this region. Also in the protection of this unique region, the new Celebrity Flora is one of the pioneers on the world's oceans and one of the most eco-friendly and environmentally conscious ships. The 101-meter-long ship can accommodate a maximum of 100 passengers and offers pure luxury. The equipment is in the style of a large yacht.

Celebrity Flora Sustainability
The special requirements of the destination were taken into account when planning the ship. The expedition ship is one of the most energy-efficient, environmentally friendly and ecologically harmless ships of its size. The innovative ‘Dynamic Positioning System’ enables the ship to moor without anchors. This protects the marine flora and fauna.
Staterooms
All of cabins on board of the Celebrity Flora are suites of at least 30 sqm in size. The cabins are classically chic and all have sea views. The decor is inspired by sustainable, natural and regional materials. On board the Celebrity Flora are the two largest penthouse suites at sea in the Galapagos region, which have their own telescopes.

While relaxing in the Sunset Lounge, The Vista offers an open-air platform with a 360-degree view, cocoon hanging chairs and private cabanas. In addition, the Naturalist Center and Darwin's Cove provide a wealth of information about the destination, the wildlife and environmental efforts. The Discovery Lounge is used for presentations and information of excursions. The departures of the Celebrity Flora are always accompanied by experts of the Galapagos Island.
