The cruise ships of Carnival Cruise Line mainly operate from American ports. The concept is comparable to a club holiday and appeals to an active, younger audience. The Carnival Firenze will set sail on its first voyage for Carnival Cruise Line in April 2024. The former Costa cruise ship, built in 2021, combines the Carnival-typical fun factor with Italian flair and culinary highlights under the motto "Carnival Fun Italian Style". Many Mediterranean design features inspired by the Italian city of Florence will be retained.

The 2,063 staterooms are modern and comfortably furnished and equipped with flat screen TV, air conditioner, hairdryer and safe. The interior staterooms have a size of approx. 14-16 sqm, while the oceanview staterooms are approx. 18.5 to 24.5 sqm in size. The balcony staterooms are impress with their total size of up to 27 sqm (including balcony). The new Terrazza staterooms (from 12 years) are even up to 44.5 sqm in size (including balcony) and give guests access to the exclusive outdoor area with bar and whirlpool. The Ocean Suites are up to 33 sqm in size (including balcony) and have a Jacuzzi bathtub.

The atmosphere on board is influenced by the design of the ship in the style of the Italian city of Florence. Impressive public areas remind of the city's famous squares and buildings, giving the ship a unique flair. The friendly and informal atmosphere of the other ships can also be found on board the Carnival Firenze. Life on board is international, with many guests coming from America. Thanks to the wide range of options on board, all age groups feel at home on this comfortable ship.

There is also plenty of culinary variety on board the Carnival Firenze: The culinary offerings on board the ship include numerous restaurants and cafés where every guest will find something to suit them. Drinks are available for an extra charge or you can take advantage of a drinks package.

• Lido Marketplace (buffet restaurant): A variety of dishes from the hot and cold buffet await you here for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
• Palazzo Restaurant: Enjoy international dishes in the à la carte restaurant.
• Medici Restaurant: The two-storey, elegant à la carte restaurant offers culinary delights.
• Pizzeria del Capitano (included at lunchtime, surcharge in the evening): At lunchtime you can enjoy complimentary pasta dishes here, while in the evening you can sample Italian specialities for an extra charge.
• Guy's Burger Joint: Try typical American dishes, e.g. burgers or fries.
• Tomodoro: Savour Mexican-Italian creations such as Sicilian chicken alongside Mexican tacos.
• La Strada Grill: Here you can enjoy Italian street food, e.g. sandwiches.

In the following speciality restaurants you pay a surcharge:

• Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse: Enjoy succulent steaks or a tender filet mignon complemented with delicious salads.
• Bonsai Sushi: Try Japanese specialities such as exquisite sushi, soup and salad.
• Bonsai Teppanyaki: Here your dish is freshly prepared at the table, e.g. grilled tofu, prawns or vegetables.
• Seafood Shack: Enjoy steamed or fried seafood.

In the numerous bars and lounges (not included) you can enjoy a relaxing cappuccino in the JavaBlue Café, taste delicious cocktails in the Rococó Bar or have an aperitif in the Frizzante Bar.

The Carnival Firenze not only offers a wide range of activities, but also places to relax and unwind. The "Cloud 9 Spa" offers steam baths, saunas and much more. You can enjoy various body and facial treatments in the treatment rooms (for a fee). Several pools and whirlpools on board the Carnival Firenze provide additional relaxation. For those who want to stay active on holiday, there is a large fitness centre with modern cardio and strength training equipment. Open-air fitness is also possible, e.g. with the panoramic running track on deck 12. In the evening, various musicians and singers perform in the lounges, e.g. in the Tuscan Lounge, and provide the perfect evening entertainment. You can also enjoy classic theatre plays and great shows in the Teatro Rosso or try your luck in the casino.
