Welcome aboard Carnival Cruise Line! Founded in 1972, this American cruise line is part of Carnival Corporation, which also owns brands such as Princess Cruises and Cunard. Every year, Carnival Cruise Line delights millions of guests with an extraordinary and entertaining cruise experience.

Carnival Festivale staterooms

On board the Carnival Festivale, you can choose from a wide range of modern and comfortably furnished staterooms. 

In addition to interior and oceanview staterooms ranging in size from approx. 14.7 sqm to 22.6 sqm, you can choose between classic staterooms, Cloud 9 Spa staterooms (ideal for wellness enthusiasts) or Havana Cabana staterooms with exclusive access to the Havana outdoor area. The balcony staterooms are approx. 15.9 sqm to 19 sqm in size and have a balcony ranging from 4.1 sqm to 11.1 sqm.

The various suite categories offer not only luxury but also a unique view of the sea. The inner surface of the suites range from approx. 26.7 sqm to approx. 44 sqm. The elegantly furnished Carnival Excel Presidential Suite, with a total area of approx. 104 sqm, even has its own whirlpool and an outdoor shower on the approx. 60 sqm balcony. 

Atmosphere on board the Carnival Festivale

The Carnival Festivale is a ship for all ages, but guests who appreciate a comprehensive range of entertainment and activities will particularly enjoy themselves. The clientele is international, with a majority of American guests. The atmosphere is relaxed and informal, although formal dress is expected in the main restaurant on some evenings. However, if you prefer a more casual style, you can choose to dine in other restaurants on these evenings.

Carnival Festivale restaurants, bars & lounges

The culinary offerings aboard the Carnival Festivale include numerous restaurants with something for everyone. Not only are there excellent international, American and modern delicacies, but also traditional dishes.

The following restaurants are included in the price:

  • Harmony Restaurant (main restaurant): The elegant two-storey à la carte restaurant offers culinary delights.
  • Melody Restaurant (main restaurant): You can enjoy international dishes in the à la carte restaurant.
  • Lido Marketplace: Here you can expect a wide variety of dishes from the hot and cold buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
  • Blue Iguana Cantina: Enjoy typical Mexican specialities here, such as burritos or tortillas. 
  • Big Chicken: Here you will find a wide selection of chicken dishes with delicious side dishes.
  • Guy's Burger Joint: Try typical American dishes, such as burgers or chips.
  • Pizza Palooza: Enjoy delicious pizza in a variety of flavours.
  • Rhythm & Rolls Deli: Try a wide selection of different sandwiches.
  • Street Eats: Whether it's crispy chips or delicious kebabs, you can enjoy a variety of snacks at the street food stalls.

The following restaurants are subject to a surcharge (reservation may be required):

  • Guy's Pig & Anchor Smokehouse/Brewhouse: Enjoy delicious barbecue dishes accompanied by home-brewed craft beer.
  • Bonsai Teppanyaki: Here, your meal is freshly prepared right at your table, e.g. grilled tofu, prawns or vegetables.
  • Bonsai Sushi: Try Japanese specialities such as exquisite sushi, soup and salad.
  • Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse: Enjoy juicy steaks or tender filet mignon, complemented by delicious salads.
  • Seafood Shack: Try steamed or fried seafood.
  • The Chef's Table: Enjoy an exclusive multi-course dinner, where a master executive chef will personally attend to you.
  • Carnival Kitchen: Visit the interactive cooking studio, where you can prepare and taste various dishes yourself under expert guidance.

In the various lounges and bars (not included), you can use your beverage packages, enjoy drinks and make new friends. Enjoy a relaxing cappuccino at JavaBlue Café, try delicious cocktails at Bar Mix or have an aperitif at Alchemy Bar. We also recommend The Spark, a music bar where you can enjoy delicious drinks inspired by iconic song titles while listening to live music.

Entertainment, sports and relaxation

Six fascinating zones or themed areas await you at Carnival Festivale: 

Discover Studio 724, which will enchant you with an interactive world of music and light shows. Here you will also find numerous bars, such as The Spark and Mix.

Grand Central is the cruise ship's impressive atrium, which is a popular meeting place during the day. In the evening, the area is transformed into an atmospheric event location with live music, comedy and shows on the central stage.

Stroll through The Festival zone – an outdoor promenade in festival style with numerous street food stalls – or relax in the Summer Landing area, where you can enjoy delicious soft ice cream, for example.

In addition to food and drink, the Lido area offers a relaxed outdoor atmosphere with a pool and numerous sun loungers.

The perfect place for families is the Sunsation Point: the large Carnival WaterWorks Ultra water park with numerous slides offers plenty of fun and action. A rope course, mini golf, an adventure trail and a sports field round off the facilities.

Those seeking relaxation will find various wellness offers such as massages, facials and a hydrotherapy pool at the Cloud 9 Spa. The Serenity area, exclusively for adults, also offers a quiet retreat with comfortable loungers and sea views.
