The Amadeus Aurea can accommodate up to 158 passengers in 67 cabins and 12 suites. The suites, which are approx. 26.4 square meters in size and equipped with a walk-in balcony and a minibar, are located on the Mozart deck. The cabins with a lowerable panorama front are approx. 17.5 square meters in size and the cabins with a viewing window that cannot be opened are approx. 16 square meters in size. In each of the tastefully and high-quality furnished cabins you will find a separable double bed, shower/WC, flat-screen TV, individually adjustable air conditioning, hairdryer, spacious wardrobe, telephone and safe.

You can expect a mixture of modern yet timeless elegance and relaxed informality. The crew hand-picked by Amadeus River Cruises will take care of your wishes in a professional, courteous and cordial manner. While daytime is casual, elegant attire is recommended for dinner or special occasions.

At the bow of the ship is the open-air lounge “River Terrace”, which offers a wonderful view of the passing landscape even in wind and weather thanks to its special glazing concept. On the same deck, you have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the tradition of Viennese coffee houses and enjoy Austrian specialties at Café Vienna.

In the spa area, you can enjoy a massage or be pampered by the on-board hairdresser. If you don't want to miss out on your usual sports program on vacation, you can complete a training session in the fitness room around the clock with a view of the river.

Amadeus Cruises are generally suitable for children ages 8 and up. However, there is no childcare or entertainment program on board, as the cruises are geared more toward adults. Some ships offer connecting cabins, but these are not available on the Amadeus Aurea.

On Amadeus cruises, you can book shore excursions for each port in advance or onboard, depending on your preferences. They are categorized by difficulty level, ranging from Level 1 (easy) to Level 5 (more challenging). You can also book excursion packages that allow you to participate in multiple excursions as a single package. On board, you’ll also have access to free rental bikes that you can use.
