    “Stressful and difficult”

    • Even though i took extra care to book a specific cabin (#8085)MID SHIP I was assigned cabin 6023 AFT, which was very uncomfortable as i could feel every movement of the ship and I had to cross the whole ship to get to certain areas.I am very disappointed and heartbroken by the change of cabin, and I did not have a good time because of that. Also i was not notified before and it was a total surprise to me. Had I known that I would be "upgraded" to another cabin in the AFT, I might have cancelled my trip as I have a very sensitive stomach.I do not accept that i was upgraded, as the cabin had no extra features from the one i booked and the only difference was the location.

    • Even though I had paid for the package for the wifi, it seems that it did not work properly so throughout the trip I could not receive any personal emails and the customer service could not help. When I left the ship I was able to receive my emails again.
      the worse problem was that I iad to visit the customer service two to three times a day as As they claim my bank was not providing authorization for the charges and I had to pay the charges each time and worse I had to prepay some of them. When this problem first appeared I called my Bank and was informed that there was no problem with my card. during the cruise time another company other than Holland America was able to reserve money on the same card with success. I had a very stressful experience and insulting at times- as I felt that the message that I was getting was that they did not trust their customer, and this has not happened ever to me before.

    • My previous cruise to Alaska, with the same company left me only with the best of memories. The current experience is one one I would rather forget. I feel that whatever the technical problems were they could have tried to resolve it, as I strongly feel that whatever technical problem was not caused by my email a/c or my Bank account or card and not to resolve to the easy solution of making their client to prepay.
