- How did you like your cabin number 7004?
- Your comment on cabin 7004:
- The cabin was very spacious with great views from large windows. However, the air quality was poor. We often had the strong smell of cigarette smoke in our cabin. Guest services advised that this could not have traveled through the ventilation system and yet it did. When we had them inspect during a particularly bad occasion, they said it was coming into corridor from crew smoking area located on deck below and they would make sure doors were closed. It was not the corridor that concerned us but the INSIDE of the cabin and this remained unresolved. They offered lobster for our final night as compensation but in the dining room, there was no lobster left.
Although we felt we had hit a jackpot when we first arrived in the large cabin, by the end of the cruise we all had sore throats and were not comfortable with air quality. I would not recommend this cabin.

- The activities offered were poor - usually they were sales oriented lectures from spa or fitness staff or they involved an extra charge. There were free Zumba classes which met the needs of a very small demographic on board. Who goes on a cruise to attend art auctions? These padded out the so-called activities. There were free trivia sessions and, in keeping with the Shylock type approach, the prize was a highlighter or similar! A round of drinks or even nothing would be less insulting.

- I would love to find a cruise line that paid the service staff reasonable wages so that gratuities were genuinely optional and used for exceptional service. All bar prices had 18% added and in a 3 person cabin we were charged $40.50 per day for 'gratuities' This level across the ship implies that the staff are working for the tips. Fares should reflect the true cost rather than adding some costs after embarkation
