Due to the short distance to Marine Port Kagoshima, this is a very fast option, and you can simply show the driver the name of your ship or a map of the port to be taken directly to the security area.
Ferry and Local Transport
If you have spent the day on the volcanic island of Sakurajima, the ferries will bring you back to the terminal near the aquarium at short intervals.
