Returning to the ship

The Port of Gibraltar at North Mole impresses with its central location and modern terminal infrastructure directly on the Strait of Gibraltar. Thanks to its proximity to the city center and good connections to the Spanish highway network, the cruise terminal is flexibly accessible for international guests.

Airplane

Gibraltar International Airport (GIB) is located only about two kilometers from the port and offers direct flight connections via the United Kingdom. For travelers from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, Málaga Airport (AGP) is also ideal at a distance of around 125 kilometers, as it features numerous direct flights from across the DACH region and allows for a comfortable onward journey via transfer.

Auto

Arrival from the north is via the Spanish highway AP-7 or the A-7 as far as La Línea de la Concepción, directly on the border with Gibraltar. Guarded parking spaces, such as the Santa Barbara parking lot, are available on-site at the port and on the Spanish side of the border crossing, from which the terminal is easily accessible by taxi or a short walk.

Transfer & Pre-Cruise Hotel

Thanks to private shuttle services and car rental providers, the route from Málaga Airport to the port can be covered in about 90 minutes. Since flight times can vary, an overnight stay in a hotel in Gibraltar or La Línea is recommended to combine the stay with a visit to the famous Upper Rock Nature Reserve and to embark directly at the ship the next morning without time pressure.

Check-in & Embarkation

Please note that you will generally receive a fixed time slot for check-in with your travel documents, which is binding for your embarkation. Plan sufficient time for your journey to the port accordingly and take into account that the latest embarkation time - depending on the cruise line and destination area - is usually scheduled about one hour before the planned departure.

The same applies during the voyage: for shore excursions, you should be back on board no later than one hour before departure. Always observe the current announcements and notices on board, as mooring and departure times may change at short notice.
