Thanks to its excellent connections to the road and rail network, as well as its proximity to several airports, arrival and embarkation at the modern, compact terminal are extremely convenient.

Auto

Portsmouth International Port is optimally connected to the national road network via the M275 motorway, which leads directly to the port grounds. Navigation systems will reliably guide you to your destination using the postcode PO2 8SP. A secure, multi-storey car park for short and long-term parking is available directly at the port, with advance booking highly recommended. In addition, specialized Park & Cruise providers and several nearby hotels, such as the Holiday Inn Portsmouth or the ibis Portsmouth Centre, offer attractive parking packages including shuttle services. For quick luggage unloading, there are also designated 20-minute stopping zones directly in front of the terminal.

Bahn

Portsmouth has several railway stations, with Portsmouth & Southsea and Portsmouth Harbour being particularly relevant for cruise guests. Direct train connections from London Waterloo are operated by South Western Railway, taking approximately 85 minutes. From Portsmouth & Southsea station, you can reach the cruise terminal comfortably by taxi in about five minutes; a taxi rank is located directly outside the station. From Portsmouth Harbour station (The Hard Interchange), buses run every five minutes to the International Port, with a journey time of around 13 minutes. A taxi ride from there takes about five minutes.

Alternatively, the major London airports are available: London Heathrow (LHR) is about 75 miles (approx. 120 km) away, and London Gatwick (LGW) is around 59 to 77 miles (approx. 95 to 124 km) away. Private transfer services from both airports to the Portsmouth Cruise Terminal are available and require a travel time of approximately 1 hour 20 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes. Due to the international journey, an overnight stay in one of Portsmouth's numerous pre-cruise hotels is recommended, some of which also offer Park & Cruise deals.
