Returning to the ship

Jeju Island is a fascinating destination for cruises and is easily accessible from the DACH region by plane via Jeju International Airport (CJU). The main cruise terminal, the Jeju International Passenger Terminal, is conveniently located on the north coast of the island, only about two kilometers from the center of Jeju City.

Airplane

Your journey from the DACH region usually takes you on international flights first to South Korea (e.g. Seoul Incheon, ICN) and from there with a comfortable domestic flight to Jeju International Airport (CJU). The island's airport is the second largest in South Korea and is excellently connected thanks to the world's busiest flight route between Seoul and Jeju. Due to the long journey, an overnight stay before embarkation on Jeju is recommended.

Transfer & Shuttle

From Jeju International Airport (CJU), you can reach the Jeju International Passenger Terminal quickly and easily. A taxi ride takes only about 14 minutes and costs between 12,000 and 15,000 KRW, which is equivalent to around 8-11 Euro. Alternatively, you can use public buses, with bus line 100 running directly between the airport and the cruise terminal. In addition, many cruise lines and private providers offer comfortable shuttle and transfer services directly to the port or your pre-cruise hotel.

Pre-Cruise Hotel

For a relaxed start to your cruise, arriving in Jeju one day before embarkation is recommended. This gives you enough time to recover from the long flight and enjoy your first impressions of the island. In Jeju City and the immediate vicinity of the port, you will find numerous hotels for every taste and budget, providing an ideal base for a stress-free start to your sea voyage.

Check-in & Embarkation

Please note that you will usually receive a fixed time slot for check-in with your travel documents, which is binding for your embarkation. Plan sufficient time for your journey to the port accordingly and take into account that the latest embarkation time - depending on the cruise line and destination - is usually scheduled about one hour before the planned departure.

The same applies during the trip: for shore excursions, you should be back on board at least one hour before departure. Always pay attention to the current announcements and the notices on board, as mooring and departure times can change at short notice.
