Airplane
Travel to Kosrae is via Kosrae International Airport (KSA), the island's only airport. There are no direct flight connections from Germany, Austria, or Switzerland. Long-haul flights usually go through major hubs such as Guam (GUM) or Honolulu (HNL) and from there continue with the United Airlines "Island Hopper" connection. Due to the long flight duration of over 30 hours, arriving at least one day before the scheduled embarkation is recommended.
Transfer & Shuttle
From Kosrae International Airport (KSA), you can easily reach your accommodation or the port by taxi or pre-booked transfer. Taxis are generally available directly at the terminal and will take you to the island center or hotels in about 20 to 40 minutes. The cost for a taxi ride is approximately between 20 and 40 EUR.
