Airplane

Dublin Airport (DUB) is the central arrival point for guests from the DACH region and offers numerous direct connections from Frankfurt, Munich, Zurich, and Vienna. The onward journey to the port is very comfortable thanks to the Aircoach (Line 702 or 703), which travels directly to Dún Laoghaire station in around 50 minutes. You can also reach the terminal by taxi via the Dublin Port Tunnel in about 30 to 40 minutes, which allows for a quick connection to local hotels, especially for those arriving the day before.

Train & Public Transport

Thanks to the excellent connection to the DART (Dublin Area Rapid Transit) suburban rail system, the port is perfectly connected to Dublin city center. Dún Laoghaire Mallin station is located just a three-minute walk from the tender boat arrival area and offers connections to the central Dublin Pearse and Dublin Connolly stations every 15 to 20 minutes. DART Local Train

The DART train takes you from central Dublin stations such as Tara Street or Pearse comfortably in about 20 minutes directly to the Dún Laoghaire stop, from where you can reach the harbour and the tender moorings at Carlisle Pier in just a few steps. The trains run at high frequency and offer a wonderful view of the coast during the journey.

Taxi

Clearly visible taxi ranks are located on Marine Road and directly in front of the Royal Marine Hotel, so you can use a fast and direct connection back to the harbour area at any time.
