The port of St. George’s on Grenada is one of the most picturesque ports of call in the Caribbean and is excellently accessible for guests from the DACH region. Airplane
Maurice Bishop International Airport (GND) is located only about eight kilometers south of the capital and is served by Condor with direct flights from Frankfurt. In addition, travelers from Vienna or Zurich can easily reach the Spice Isle via connections through London Heathrow or via hubs in the USA such as Miami or New York.
Transfer & Taxi
The drive from the airport to the Melville Street Cruise Terminal takes only 15 to 20 minutes thanks to the well-developed Maurice Bishop Highway. Pre-Cruise Hotel
Due to the time difference and the long flight duration, we recommend arriving at least one day before embarkation. Check-in & Embarkation
Please note that you will generally receive a fixed time slot for check-in with your travel documents, which is binding for your embarkation. Plan sufficient time for your journey to the port accordingly and keep in mind that the latest embarkation time – depending on the cruise line and destination – is usually scheduled about one hour before the planned departure.
The following also applies during the journey: For shore excursions, you should be back on board no later than one hour before departure. Always pay attention to the current announcements and notices on board, as mooring and departure times can change at short notice.
