Cagliari-Elmas International Airport (CAG) is located only about 7 kilometers from the cruise terminal and is regularly served by direct flights or via Rome from the DACH region. The trip to the port takes around 15 minutes by taxi, and a regional train also runs every 20 minutes, connecting the airport directly to the nearby main train station in just 6 minutes.

A guarded long-term parking lot for cruise guests is available directly at Molo Rinascita, and the terminal grounds are easily accessible thanks to clear signage.

Train & Pre-Cruise Hotel

Cagliari Centrale main station is located in the immediate vicinity of the harbor entrance at Piazza Matteotti and is an ideal hub for guests arriving by train within Sardinia. Due to the proximity to the picturesque Castello old town, an arrival on the previous day is recommended for a relaxed start to the holiday.

Check-in & Embarkation

Please note that your travel documents usually include a fixed time slot for check-in, which is mandatory for your embarkation. Plan sufficient time for your journey to the port accordingly and keep in mind that the latest embarkation time - depending on the cruise line and destination - is usually scheduled about one hour before the planned departure.

The same applies during the journey: for shore excursions, you should be back on board at least one hour before departure. Always pay attention to the current announcements and notices on board, as mooring and departure times can change at short notice.
