On Foot

You can reach the center of Warnemünde with the popular Alter Strom promenade and the wide sandy beach in about 5 to 10 minutes. A well-developed path leads you directly from the terminal to the charming captains' houses and the prominent landmarks such as the Teepott and the lighthouse.

S-Bahn

Warnemünde station is located in the immediate vicinity of the cruise terminal and offers an ideal connection to Rostock. Thanks to the regular departures of the S-Bahn, you can reach the historic old town of Rostock and the main station there comfortably and quickly.

Taxi

Official taxi stands are located directly in front of the exits of the terminal buildings and are available for individual journeys. The drivers will take you to destinations in the region via short routes and, thanks to their local knowledge, ensure a pleasant onward journey to your desired excursion destination.

Alter Strom & Leuchtturm

Warnemünder Ostseestrand

The extensive Warnemünder Strand with the distinctive Teepott and the historic lighthouse is easily accessible on foot from the cruise terminal in less than ten minutes and offers the finest white sand as well as an impressive width of up to one hundred meters. Thanks to the excellent infrastructure with the characteristic Strandkörbe and the lively promenade, you will find the perfect place for relaxing hours including first-class gastronomy directly by the sea. Ideally, visit the beach in the morning to secure a front-row seat and plan the short walk back to the terminal about sixty minutes before boarding.

The journey back to the Cruise Center Warnemünde is particularly straightforward thanks to the terminal's central location, allowing for a relaxed and punctual return to the ship.

On Foot

From the picturesque Alter Strom or the wide sandy beach, you can walk comfortably in just a few minutes over the Bahnhofsbrücke directly to the pier. The paths are level, well-signposted, and lead you safely through the charming town center directly back to the terminal building.

S-Bahn and Public Transport

If you have taken an excursion to the Hanseatic City of Rostock, the S-Bahn runs frequently and brings you directly to the Warnemünde terminus right by the pier. Additionally, local VVW buses regularly serve the Kirchenplatz, from where you can easily reach the ship after a short walk.

Taxi and Ferry

Central taxi ranks are located at the station forecourt as well as in front of prominent points like the Hotel Neptun, guaranteeing a comfortable arrival at check-in. From the opposite side of the Warnow in Hohe Düne, you can also use the passenger ferry, which crosses at short intervals and brings you directly near the port grounds.
