This place is perfect for a cultural walking tour and also offers many inviting terrace cafés with water views for a relaxing break right on the riverbank. It is best to start your excursion in the morning to experience the special atmosphere in the narrow alleys in peace and quiet, and ideally plan your return to the ship about ninety minutes before the scheduled departure.

Returning to the ship

Returning to your cruise ship in the Port of Strasbourg is straightforward and relaxed thanks to the city's excellent infrastructure. Plan approximately 20 minutes for the transfer from the historic center to the docking berths at Rue du Havre or Rue de Boulogne.

Tram and Public Transport

Tram lines D and E offer a direct connection from the city center to the vicinity of the port areas. Disembark at the Landsberg or Aristide Briand stops, from where you can easily reach your ship after a short walk, following the clear signage for orientation.
