Returning to the ship

Willemstad is a colorful and excellently developed cruise port in the Caribbean, welcoming ships at the central berths of Mega Pier and Mathey Wharf right in the heart of the island's capital. Thanks to the well-developed infrastructure, you can reach the terminals from the international airport as well as from surrounding hotels in a very short time.

Airplane

Curaçao International Airport (CUR) is located about 12 kilometers north of Willemstad and is regularly served from the DACH region. Travel with Condor via direct flight from Frankfurt or via the Amsterdam hub with KLM and TUI is particularly comfortable, with the pure travel time from the airport to the port being only about 15 to 20 minutes.

Transfer & Taxi

From the airport, you can easily reach the ship by licensed taxis or private shuttle services, with fares to the terminals usually being fixed. In addition, many cruise lines offer organized transfers that meet guests at the terminal immediately after landing and bring them safely to the Mega Pier or Mathey Wharf berths.

Pre-Cruise Hotel

Due to the flight duration from Europe, we recommend arriving at least one day before embarkation to adjust to the time difference in peace and start your vacation relaxed. Many hotels in the districts of Otrobanda and Punda are in the immediate vicinity of the port and allow you to explore the historic old town of Willemstad and the famous Queen Emma Bridge before departure.
