Feel Free - the modern concept of Norwegian Cruise Line accompanies you in all the aspects of your voyage. Take advantage of different dining options without fixed table times and eat when you like to. No importance is attached to certain clothing rules, enjoy your vacation as spontaneous and flexible as you want. The ships of the Norwegian Cruise Line are in a sense club ships with an international flair. German menus and German-speaking contact persons make life on board much easier. Whenever possible within Europe, excursions with German speaking guides are offered. Basic knowledge in English, however, is recommended on the ships of the American cruise line.

The Pride of America was built in 2005 in Bremerhaven and most recently renovated in 2016. With a length of approx. 280 meters and 80.439 GRT, the ship can accommodate 2.186 guests (double occupancy). On board there are numerous bars and restaurants offering culinary delights from all over the world. The Pride of America is the only ship of the Norwegian Cruise Line that sails under American flag and only in American waters (Hawaii), so there is no casino on board, but a typical American atmosphere.

The cabins are lovingly and lively furnished. The inside studio, designed for solo travellers, offers about 10 m² of space, while the inside cabins measure about 12 m² and the outside cabins about 13 m². The balcony cabins have about 16 m² of space and a private balcony from which you can enjoy the great view. The cabins have two lower beds, which can usually be put together to a double bed. Some cabins also have a 3rd and 4th bed, usually as an upper folding bed. Generously designed are the suites on board, which measure between 33 and 88 m². The Deluxe Owner's Suite even has about 128 square meters of space and special extras, such as its own concert grand piano. All suites also offer butler and concierge services.

The atmosphere on board it is easy and relaxed. Guests from numerous countries travel with the ships of Norwegian Cruise Line. Everything is possible. You can pack festive clothes, as there are gala dinners for some dining options. You do not feel like dressing up? No problem - there are no strict clothing rules on board. In the main restaurants only swimwear and shorts are not desired. The Norwegian Cruise Line offers the perfect holiday for young and young at heart. At the same time there are always quiet corners, cozy bars and places on deck, so that all guests get their money’s worth.

According to the "Feel Free" concept, there are no fixed table times aboard the ships of the cruise line, which can narrow down your daily planning. Choose from a variety of dining options: The main restaurants, a buffet restaurant as well as numerous cafes, grill restaurants and snacks are already included in the cruise price. In addition, there are various specialty restaurants on board, which will delight you with delicacies from Asian, French or Italian cuisine (for a fee). An American-style steakhouse is also one of the specialty restaurants on board. Numerous bars, cafes and lounges complete the culinary offer on board. A highlight is the "Aloha Café" whose ambience is characterized by a pink Cadillac. Here you sit on original Cadillac seats during your snack!

The evening program is also adapted to the motto of the ship and very diverse. Guests are offered everything from live music to theme parties and Hula Hula classes. Every day, the theater offers exciting, often Hawaiian-themed shows. A pub or a sports bar as well as quieter places like the champagne bar and vinotheque or cafe bar are not missing on board. Of course, there is also a disco / night club, where you can dance until the early morning hours. The Pride of America is also the only ship in the fleet that has its own Hawaii Museum and Cultural Center. The fitness area invites to endurance and muscle training. Two swimming pools, a children's pool and four whirlpools provide the desired cooling in the tropical, Hawaiian climate. A jogging track, a basketball / volleyball court, ping-pong tables and two golf clubs offer something for everyone. A special highlight is the gyroscope / bungee trampoline on board. At the Mandara Spa and Fitness Center, guests can unwind in the steam room or sauna. Cosmetic applications or the hairdresser visit also increase the external and internal well-being.

On board guests feel comfortable, who want to experience a relaxed and informal holiday in an international atmosphere. The cruises are offered at relatively low prices. Families feel just as comfortable on the ships as couples or solo travelers.
