The MSC Magnifica belongs to the Musica class. The ship was put into service in 2010 and was last renovated in 2014 and 2021. The MSC Magnifica is 293.80 metres long and has room for 2,518 passengers (based on double occupancy of cabins), who will find fun and variety for the whole family on board. About MSC Cruises
Welcome aboard MSC Cruises! The cruise line was founded in 1970 and is the cruise division of the container shipping company Mediterranean Shipping Company. MSC Cruises is the world's largest privately family-owned cruise line (Aponte family) and has many years of expertise on the seven seas. The Aponte family has also established an independent charitable organisation, the MSC Foundation, which is also present on board and supports many humanitarian and environmental projects.

MSC Magnifica Staterooms
The staterooms are modern and comfortably furnished and have a bathroom with shower, TV, telephone, minibar and safe. The interior staterooms measure about 13 sqm, the oceanview staterooms about 14-16 sqm. The balcony staterooms already have 14-18 sqm and the suites between 23 and 25 sqm, depending on the category. The suites have been equipped with a bathtub.
Atmosphere on board the MSC Magnifica
On board the MSC Magnifica, it's like landing in a well-kept holiday hotel: good food, a wide range of sports, comfortable staterooms and many entertainment options. Even at this relaxed and casual atmosphere, festive attire is recommended two nights a week in the main restaurants. Guests who like it even more casual can visit the buffet restaurant at this evenings where no dress code is expected.
MSC Magnifica Restaurants, bars & lounges
The culinary offering on board MSC Magnifica includes numerous restaurants with something for everyone. Drinks are available at an extra charge or you can take advantage of a drinks package.
The following restaurants are already included in the price:
- L'Oasi & Sahara (buffet restaurant): A variety of dishes from the hot and cold buffet await you in the oriental-style restaurant.
- L'Edera (main restaurant): Taste freshly prepared dishes in an elegant ambience.
- Quattro Venti (main restaurant): Enjoy fine dining in the à la carte restaurant.
There is a surcharge for the following speciality restaurants:
- Oriental Plaza: Taste Chinese, Japanese and Thai specialities.
Savour fine wines or classic cocktails in one of the eleven bars and lounges (not included), for example in the Ruby Bar or Topazio Bar.
MSC Magnifica Entertainment, sports and wellness
On board there are many ways to spend your holiday. The heart of the MSC Magnifica is an oasis of calm, the extensive MSC Aurea Spa. A large open-air pool complex and an indoor pool with a movable roof invite you to swim and relax. For the athletically active, there is also a modern fitness centre, a jogging track as well as a tennis court and a mini-golf course.
Try your luck in the casino or experience an impressive show in the 4D cinema. The 1200-seat theatre offers breathtaking Broadway-style shows. In addition, you can look forward to special program highlights such as various theme parties or the DOREMIX Family Disco with dance competitions.
MSC Magnifica children
There is plenty for children of all ages to discover on board. In various family game shows, children can challenge their parents or win prizes together as a family.
Childcare is also provided for your children: babies and toddlers between six months and two years are looked after by certified staff in the Baby Club, which was created in collaboration with the leading children's brand Chicco®. Toddlers aged three to six play in the MSC Mini Club and the Junior Club looks after children aged seven to eleven. MSC's experienced entertainers look after the children with various games and many sporting activities. During the day, 12 to 14-year-olds in the Young Club and 15 to 17-year-olds in the Teens Club can enjoy clubs equipped with the latest consoles, games and VR technology. The Teens Club also offers special events such as an exclusive teens' edition of the Silent Disco.

Tipps & Infos
Confirmation of stateroom numbers: Stateroom numbers are always confirmed by MSC Cruises under reserve, the cruise line reserves the right to change the stateroom after the booking.
MSC Voyages Club member numbers or vouchers: Please inform us about these within your reservation. The MSC Voyages Club member number has to be entered directly while booking in order to benefit from the club discount - if applicable for this cruise and rate - in order get it applied to the reservation.
Additional destination fees for cruise passengers: Some destinations charge a separate fee for cruise passengers to support local infrastructure and promote sustainable tourism, among other things. MSC Cruises passes on these additional costs and charges them to your onboard account. This is currently the case for:
- Iceland: Mandatory for all passengers, approx. 18 € per day/person for each 24-hour stay, debited from the on-board account after departure from the port
- Greece: For all shore leavers, depending on the port/season varying fees (approx. 1-20 € per person/port), debited from the on-board account the evening before the respective call and, in case of remaining in the port on board, refunded within 24 hours
Recommendation: Changes of the hygiene, test, vaccination or entry requirements may occur shortly prior departure. We recommend to check the current regulations for travelers and returnees in time prior departure.
Required travel documents by MSC Cruises: Every passenger has to have a valid passport whose validity is still given 6 months after the trip. For all cruises that only call ports in the EU including Norway and Iceland, German citizens only require identity card or children up to the age of 14 a children's passport or ePassport; these documents need a validity of 6 months after the trip.
