João Paulo II Airport (PDL) is located just four kilometers west of the port and serves as the most important hub for travelers from the DACH region. The flight duration from German airports is approximately four to five hours for direct connections; additionally, there are regular and well-timed connecting flights via the Lisbon hub.
Transfer & Mobility
From the airport terminal, guests can reach the ship in about 10 to 15 minutes by driving along the well-developed EN1-1A coastal road. In addition to the taxis immediately available and the cruise lines' organized shuttle transfers, the Aerobus offers a regular connection to the city center. Furthermore, self-drivers will find a spacious underground parking garage for short- and long-term parking at the Portas do Mar terminal.
