The most comfortable way for cruise guests from the DACH region to arrive is via Santiago de Chile International Airport (SCL) with a connecting flight to Patagonia. The nearest airport is Teniente Julio Gallardo (PNT) in Puerto Natales itself, located only about 7 kilometers north of the city center. During the high season, airlines such as LATAM Airlines offer direct connections from Santiago (SCL) to Puerto Natales (PNT). Another common option is flying into the larger Punta Arenas Airport (PUQ), which is located about 230 to 250 kilometers southeast of Puerto Natales. From there, good bus connections and transfer options are available.

From Teniente Julio Gallardo Airport (PNT) in Puerto Natales, you can easily reach the city center and the port in about 10 to 15 minutes by taxi or private transfer. From Punta Arenas Airport (PUQ), bus companies such as Bus-Sur and Buses Fernández offer regular connections to the bus terminal in Puerto Natales; the journey takes around three hours. Many cruise lines and local providers also organize shuttle services directly from Punta Arenas Airport to the terminal in Puerto Natales to ensure a seamless journey.
