Thanks to the untouched surroundings, the beach offers an ideal retreat and also excellent conditions for impressive panoramic photographs of the wild Patagonian coast. It is best to start your visit directly in the morning to enjoy the optimal light conditions and the morning peace on site, and plan your return to the port at the latest ninety minutes before departure.
The return journey to the port of Chaitén is very relaxed and safe due to the manageable size of the town. Thanks to the short distances, you can easily reach your ship from the central points of the town.
Taxi and Local Transfers
Local taxis are available at Plaza de Armas and the central bus terminal on Calle Juan Yates, taking you to the port in just a few minutes. Additionally, many private providers organize return transport from nearby attractions so punctually that you will arrive comfortably directly at the pier.
On Foot
From the city center, simply stroll along the coastal road, Costanera, directly to the Muelle de Chaitén. The paths are flat, and thanks to the clear street layout, you will find your way to the pier without any detours while enjoying the view of the bay.
