Airplane
The nearest and most relevant airport is Porto Seguro Airport (BPS), which is located in exceptional proximity to the city center, only about 2 kilometers away. There are no direct flight connections from Germany, Austria, or Switzerland; instead, arrivals usually take place via major Brazilian hubs such as São Paulo (GRU) or Salvador (SSA). Due to the long flight duration from Europe, arriving at least one day before the planned embarkation date is advisable in order to go on board well-rested and on time.
Transfer & Shuttle
From Porto Seguro Airport (BPS), you can reach the port or your pre-booked hotel in the city center comfortably and quickly. Thanks to the short distance, the journey time is only 5 to 10 minutes. Numerous taxis are available directly at the airport, and ride-sharing services like Uber are also available. In addition, various local service providers offer private or shared transfers that can be booked in advance and guarantee a comfortable start to your vacation.
