Airplane
Pinto Martins International Airport (FOR) is located about 10 to 12 kilometers south of the cruise port and is the primary arrival point for international guests. Direct flights from the DACH region are rare, but there are good connecting flights via major European hubs or Brazilian metropolises such as São Paulo or Rio de Janeiro. A flight time of over ten hours is the rule, which is why arriving the day before is recommended to start the cruise in a relaxed manner.
Transfer & Shuttle
From Pinto Martins Airport (FOR), you can easily reach the cruise terminal by taxi. The ride takes about 20 to 30 minutes, depending on traffic. Many cruise lines also offer their own transfer services, which are often included in Fly & Cruise packages. Alternatively, ride-sharing services are available, providing a convenient and flexible transportation option.
Pre-Cruise Hotel
Given the long journey from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, a night in one of Fortaleza's hotels before embarkation day is recommended. Numerous hotels in the city, especially in the popular neighborhoods of Meireles, Mucuripe, or Praia de Iracema, offer comfortable accommodations. Check-in & Embarkation
Please note that you will usually receive a fixed time slot for check-in with your travel documents, which is binding for your embarkation. Plan sufficient time for the journey to the port accordingly and bear in mind that the latest embarkation time - depending on the cruise line and destination - is usually scheduled about one hour before the planned departure.
