The nearest airport is King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Airport (GIZ) in Jazan, located only about 3 to 7 kilometers from the city center and the port. It is served by direct flights from major hubs within Saudi Arabia such as Riyadh, Jeddah, and Dammam, as well as some international destinations like Dubai or Cairo. For travelers from the DACH region, a flight with a connection in one of these hubs is therefore the most comfortable option.
Transfer & Shuttle
From King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Airport (GIZ), you can easily reach the port and hotels in Jazan by taxi in about 10 to 30 minutes. the cost of a taxi ride to the city center is usually between 25 and 40 Saudi Riyals. Numerous hotels in Jazan also offer airport transfers, often as an additional service.
