Arrival from the DACH region is via Muscat International Airport (MCT), which is served directly from Frankfurt, Munich, and Zurich by Oman Air or Lufthansa. The airport is located approximately 32 kilometers west of the port, so travelers can reach their destination after a relaxed drive of around 30 to 40 minutes.

Transfer & Taxi

Air-conditioned taxis from the official providers Mwasalat or Marhaba are available at the airport around the clock for the journey to the terminal, leading directly to the port via Sultan Qaboos Street or the Muscat Expressway. In addition, transfers can easily be booked via apps such as Otaxi, with travel times remaining short thanks to the well-developed highways, allowing for direct arrival at the port entrance.

From the historic center of Mutrah and the Souq, you can easily reach the port gate via the picturesque waterfront promenade.
