A larger selection of international flight connections is offered by Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY), which is located about 140 to 160 kilometers away and means a travel time of approximately 1 hour and 50 minutes to 2 hours by car or transfer. Taxis and rideshare services (approx. 60-75 USD) are available from BTR airport, while rental cars and private transfer services are the most flexible options from MSY airport. Due to the long journey from Europe, an overnight stay before the cruise is highly recommended.

St. Francisville is easily accessible thanks to good road connections, especially via U.S. Highway 61, which runs directly through the town. Public parking is available for arriving guests in the city center as well as near the former ferry landing, which today serves as a docking point for river cruises.
