From Anchorage (ANC), you can reach King Salmon Airport (AKN), the headquarters of Katmai National Park, which is about 290 air miles away, via a commercial domestic flight, for example with Alaska Airlines. Alternatively, Kodiak Benny Benson State Airport (ADQ) offers daily flight connections from Anchorage and serves as another important starting point for the region.
