The compact town on the Moselle welcomes cruise guests at the Quai de la Moselle, from where the charming city center and the promenade can be easily explored on foot.

Car

For arrival by car, the A13 motorway runs through southern Luxembourg, with connections to Remich. In addition, the N10 is a major traffic artery along the Moselle that leads directly to Remich. Public parking is available on-site; it is recommended to plan more time for finding a parking space during large events such as wine festivals. Many hotels in Remich also offer parking for their guests.

Airplane

The nearest international airport is Luxembourg Airport (LUX), located only about 20 to 25 kilometers from Remich. The travel time from the airport to the port is around 20 to 30 minutes thanks to short distances. Taxis are available for a comfortable transfer, costing approximately 40 to 50 euros, or you can use one of the numerous private shuttle and transfer services. Given the potentially high demand on embarkation days, pre-booked private transfers are recommended.

Train

Although Remich does not have its own train connection, Luxembourg City Main Station (Gare Centrale) is the central arrival point. From there, travelers can easily reach the Gare routière in Remich via bus line 413, with a travel time of about 42 minutes and hourly connections. Alternatively, a taxi will take you to the terminal in around 22 minutes. An overnight stay in Luxembourg City before the cruise is a great option to explore the capital before continuing your relaxed journey to Remich.

Public Transport (RGTR Buses)

The Gare routière bus station is located in the immediate vicinity of the port and offers regular connections to Luxembourg City or Grevenmacher. The use of all public transport is free of charge nationwide and allows you to comfortably explore the entire region.

Taxi

Official taxis are available at the city's central hubs and can also be easily pre-ordered by telephone. They offer a comfortable option for direct trips to the surrounding vineyards or the sights in nearby Schengen.

The impressive cellar passages, carved directly into the limestone rock, provide a pleasantly cool atmosphere and house the traditional production of the famous Crémant. After an informative guided tour, the stylish wine shop invites you to taste the fine wines in a relaxed setting and learn more about the regional wine culture. It is best to visit the wine cellars in the morning to fully enjoy the tranquility of the site and, thanks to the short distances, be back on board completely relaxed by early afternoon.

Returning to the ship

Returning to your ship in Remich is extremely relaxed thanks to the town's compact size and the central location of the docking points on the Moselle promenade.

On Foot

Since the docking points are located directly on the extensive esplanade, you can walk back to the pier from the restaurants and shops in the town center in just a few minutes. The paths are level and offer excellent orientation due to their location directly on the riverbank and the good visibility of the ships.

Public Transport

If you are returning from an excursion in Luxembourg City or the surrounding vineyards, use the bus connections to the central Remich Gare routière stop. From there, you can easily reach the ship docks via a short walk and also benefit from the clear signage at the bus station.

Taxi

Taxis are reliably available at the central bus station and in front of the Hotel Saint-Nicolas for the return journey. Thanks to the short distances within the region, you will reach your ship on time and also enjoy the service of local drivers who will take you directly near the riverfront promenade.
