The port of Izmir, the Alsancak Cruise Port, impresses with its integrated location right in the heart of the city and excellent accessibility for international guests. Thanks to modern terminal facilities and efficient transport links, your holiday journey begins in a relaxed and smooth manner upon arrival.

Airplane

Adnan Menderes Airport (ADB) serves as the central gateway to the Aegean and is located approximately 18 kilometers south of the cruise terminal. From the DACH region, Izmir is served by direct flights from cities such as Frankfurt, Munich, Vienna, and Zurich. Thanks to the connection via the D300 highway, you can reach the ship comfortably by taxi or transfer service in about 30 to 40 minutes.

Car & Parking

Travel to the port is excellently signposted via the O-30 and O-31 motorways, as well as the O-5 highway from the direction of Istanbul, leading directly into the city center. Monitored parking areas for short- and long-term parking are available directly at the Alsancak Cruise Terminal. Additionally, numerous parking garages in the adjacent district offer secure parking spaces within a short walking distance of check-in.

Train & Local Transport

Alsancak Railway Station is located in the immediate vicinity of the terminal and is connected to the airport and the surrounding area by the modern IZBAN suburban train at frequent intervals. Furthermore, taxis are available at all times at the station and the port entrance for short transfers, and thanks to the central location, many destinations in the city center can also be easily reached by tram or bus.

Check-in & Embarkation

Please note that your travel documents usually provide a fixed time slot for check-in, which is mandatory for your embarkation. Plan sufficient time for your journey to the port and keep in mind that the latest embarkation time—depending on the cruise line and destination—is generally scheduled about one hour before the planned departure.

The same applies during the journey: for shore excursions, you should be back on board no later than one hour before departure. Always pay attention to the latest announcements and notices on board, as mooring and departure times may change at short notice.
