Port information & tips for Sevilla (City)

Sevilla is the radiant heart of Andalusia, welcoming visitors with an incomparable blend of Moorish heritage and Spanish joie de vivre. The city on the banks of the Guadalquivir captivates with its sunny flair, the scent of orange blossoms, and historic architecture that turns every stroll into a journey through time. Immediate highlights include the magnificent Plaza de España, the extensive Parque de María Luisa, as well as the imposing Cathedral with the Giralda, all of which are easily accessible on foot. Cruise ships dock at the Muelle de las Delicias, which is located in close proximity to the city center and, thanks to its central location, offers an ideal starting point for exploration.

The Port of Seville impresses with its extraordinary location right by the city center, where cruise ships dock at the modern Muelle de las Delicias terminal. Thanks to its central integration into the transport network, you can reach your ship conveniently while enjoying direct access to the historical sights of the Andalusian capital.

Airplane

Seville International Airport (SVQ) is located approximately 12 kilometers east of the port terminal and is served by direct flights from many major German cities or via Madrid. From there, you can reach Muelle de las Delicias by taxi in about 20 minutes; additionally, the airport bus line EA connects the terminal directly with the city center and the nearby Torre del Oro in immediate reach of the ship.

Train

Sevilla-Santa Justa main station is an important hub for the Spanish high-speed train AVE, which brings travelers from Madrid directly to the south in just two and a half hours. From the station, you can reach the cruise port in about 15 minutes by taxi or use the public transport bus lines to the Paseo de las Delicias stop for a comfortable transfer.

Car

Arrival by car is via the well-developed A-4 motorways from the direction of Madrid or the A-92 from the direction of Málaga and leads directly onto the SE-30 city ring road. Directly at the Muelle de las Delicias terminal as well as in the immediate vicinity near the Seville Aquarium, supervised parking facilities and long-term parking spaces are available for the duration of your cruise.

Check-in & Boarding

Please note that you will usually receive a fixed time slot for check-in with your travel documents, which is binding for your embarkation. Plan sufficient time for your journey to the port accordingly and consider that the latest embarkation time—depending on the cruise line and destination—is generally scheduled about one hour before the planned departure.

The following also applies during the journey: For shore excursions, you should be back on board at least one hour before departure. Always observe the current announcements as well as the notices on board, as mooring and departure times can change at short notice.
