Cruise ships dock at the architecturally spectacular Stazione Marittima di Salerno at Molo Manfredi, from where the vibrant city center and the elegant shopping street Via dei Mercanti are easily reachable on foot in just a few minutes.
Salerno is an ideal starting point for trips to the Amalfi Coast, thanks to its location on the Gulf of Salerno and the architecturally striking Stazione Marittima cruise terminal at Molo Manfredi. The port is located close to the city center and can be reached flexibly via various transport routes by guests from the DACH region.
Airplane
Naples International Airport (NAP) is located around 60 kilometers away and is served by direct flights from many cities in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. From there, travelers can reach the cruise terminal directly in about 45 to 60 minutes by private transfer or taxi. Additionally, the new Salerno-Costa d'Amalfi Airport (QSR), located only 20 kilometers away, offers an extra, particularly close connection option for arrival.
Train
Salerno Centrale station is an important hub for the Italian high-speed trains Frecciarossa and Italo, which connect Salerno directly with cities such as Rome or Milan. The terminal at Molo Manfredi is located about two kilometers away and can be easily reached within five to ten minutes by taxi or via a relaxed walk along the Lungomare Trieste waterfront promenade.
Car
The route leads directly to the Salerno Centro exit and on to the harbor basin via the A3 motorway from the direction of Naples and the A30 from the direction of Rome. Modern and guarded parking facilities for long-term parkers are available directly at the cruise terminal and under the Piazza della Libertà, while additional Park & Cruise providers in the surrounding area guarantee a comfortable shuttle service to the ship.
