Vodice is a vibrant jewel on the Dalmatian Adriatic coast and delights with its authentic Croatian charm and picturesque location. The city combines historic architecture with a pulsating harbor flair, with the winding alleys of the old town and the extensive waterfront promenade creating an inviting backdrop for every visitor. Cultural highlights in the immediate vicinity include the baroque Church of the Holy Cross, the fortified Čorić Tower, and the busy promenade with its numerous cafés. Cruise ships dock directly at the Gradska Riva on Obala kralja Tomislava, which is located in the heart of the city. Thanks to this prime location, guests can reach the historic center and the most important sights within a few minutes' walk.

Car
Vodice is optimally connected to the Croatian road network and can be reached via the A1 motorway as well as the E65 and M2 main roads. From the DACH region, the journey usually leads through Austria and Slovenia, either via Graz, Maribor and Zagreb or through the Karawanken Tunnel to Ljubljana. Guarded parking spaces are available in the ACI Marina Vodice for the duration of your trip, with costs of around 12 to 14 euros per day for a car or minivan.
Airplane
The nearest international airports are Split (SPU) and Zadar (ZAD), both located approximately 50 to 70 kilometers from Vodice. Both airports are served by airlines such as Ryanair, Eurowings or Condor with direct flights from the DACH region. Given the travel and transfer time, it is recommended, especially for longer flights, to arrive one day before embarkation to start your vacation in a relaxed manner.
Transfer & Shuttle
From the Split and Zadar airports, you can reach Vodice comfortably with private transfer services. These journeys take about one hour and cost around 100 euros. The services often offer a meet-and-greet service as well as flight monitoring for a smooth process. In addition, regular bus connections exist from the main bus stations in Zadar and Split directly to the Vodice bus station, which is located only a few minutes from the port.
Check-in & Embarkation
Please note that you will generally receive a fixed time slot for check-in with your travel documents, which is binding for your embarkation. Plan sufficient time for your journey to the port accordingly and keep in mind that the latest embarkation time - depending on the cruise line and destination - is usually scheduled about one hour before the planned departure.
