From Aasiaat (JEG), the nearest regional airport to the archipelago, there are regular ferry connections to Disko Island, which can vary depending on the route and weather conditions. The journey by coastal ship or ferry to Qeqertarsuaq on Disko Island is scenic and takes several hours. Alternatively, a helicopter transfer from Ilulissat to Qeqertarsuaq may also be an option during the summer season.
