Car
Miltenberg is excellently connected to the German highway network. You can reach the town easily via the A3 (Frankfurt-Würzburg) taking the Aschaffenburg-West exit and the well-developed B469, or alternatively via the Wertheim exit. Coming from the A81, use the Osterburken, Ahorn, or Tauberbischofsheim exits. Various parking options are available on site, including the Altstadt parking garage as well as parking spaces at the parish church and the Mainbrücke. The parking fees are transparent, with a free first hour and a maximum daily rate of €10.00 for 24 hours, and payment is straightforward via the Parkster app.
Train
Miltenberg-Nord station offers a good connection for your arrival by train. From there, you can cross the Brückenstraße and the Mainbrücke directly into the historic old town and thus close to the ship's berth. Aschaffenburg Hauptbahnhof serves as an important long-distance transport hub, which is easily accessible with ICE connections from all over Germany. From Aschaffenburg, Regional-Express and Regionalbahn connections run hourly to Miltenberg, with the journey taking around 47 minutes.
Airplane
For international guests and a fast journey, Frankfurt Airport (FRA), the largest airport in the vicinity, is recommended. It is located about 82 kilometers from Miltenberg and can be reached comfortably in around 50 to 60 minutes by car or taxi. Arriving the day before is recommended for longer flights in order to start your cruise experience relaxed and to explore Miltenberg's charming old town in advance.
