Cultural highlights in the immediate vicinity include the magnificent baroque Schloss Oranienburg with its extensive palace park as well as the historically significant Sachsenhausen Memorial. River cruise ships dock at the modern pier on Lehnitzsee, from which the lively city center of Oranienburg can be easily reached on foot in only about two kilometers, while at the same time providing an ideal starting point for discoveries in the region.

Car
Lehnitz is well connected to the German road network. Via the A10 motorway (Berliner Ring), you can reach the Birkenwerder or Oranienburg exit, from where it is only a few kilometers to Lehnitz. The B96 federal road also leads directly through Oranienburg. Specific Park & Cruise offers are rare in Lehnitz itself, but public parking is available near the piers, such as at Lehnitzsee or at the Lehnitz lock. Arriving early to secure a parking space is recommended.
Train
Lehnitz station is located directly on the Berlin S-Bahn line (S1) and is therefore excellently connected to the regional and national rail network. Travelers from the DACH region can easily take ICE or regional trains to Berlin Hauptbahnhof or directly to Oranienburg, and from there reach Lehnitz in just a few minutes using the S1. From the Lehnitz S-Bahn station, the piers are usually within walking distance in just a few minutes.
Airplane
The nearest and most relevant airport is Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER), located about 60 kilometers from Lehnitz. Convenient transfer options are available from there. You can take the regional train or the FEX (Airport Express) directly to Berlin Hauptbahnhof and continue from there with the S1 to Lehnitz. The travel time is around 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on the connection. Alternatively, you can use a taxi or a rental car, which shortens the driving time to approximately 45-60 minutes, depending on traffic. Given potential delays and to ensure a relaxed start to your river cruise, arriving the day before is recommended for air travel.
Check-in & Embarkation
