Port information & tips for Bonn

Bonn, the history-steeped former federal capital on the Rhine, welcomes travelers with a charming blend of Rhenish joie de vivre and cultural diversity. The extensive riverside promenades invite you to take relaxing strolls while offering a picturesque view of the nearby Siebengebirge. Among the most significant sights in the immediate vicinity are the famous Beethoven-Haus, the imposing Bonner Münster, and the magnificent Kurfürstliches Schloss with its expansive Hofgarten. River cruise ships dock at the central berths at Brassertufer, which are located directly on the edge of the historic old town. Thanks to this first-class location, guests can easily reach the lively city center, the diverse museums, and the inviting shopping streets on foot within just a few minutes.

The berths at the Brassertufer as well as in the UN Campus area can be reached flexibly and quickly thanks to the excellent infrastructure in the Rhineland.

Cologne/Bonn Airport (CGN) is located only about 22 kilometers from the city center and is ideally connected via the motorway or the SB60 airport bus. Thanks to the short travel time of around 20 to 30 minutes, air travelers reach the port quickly, while Frankfurt Airport (FRA) represents a comfortable alternative for arrivals from further abroad due to its direct connection to the high-speed rail line.
